Arsenal Wins Europa League Semifinal; Unai Emery still not Satisfied

Arsenal took on Valencia for the semifinal at the Mestalla Stadium with a 4-2 victory for Unai Emery’s team. Thursday evening was a great night for Arsenal’s victory but apparently, the club’s manager, Unai Emery thinks the team did not win anything yet. “It’s not finished yet, there’s no success yet, we have to play the final boss. We are happy but we know that it continues to be difficult to win.” Emery says.

Despite the seemingly high expectations Emery has for his players to deliver on, the 47-year-old has also shown his appreciation for his men’s hard work on the field. Emery praised his two-star strikers Aubemeyang and Alexandra Lacazette for their final execution that led to Arsenal’s sensational win over Valencia.

“They are very, very good strikers. I am proud of them, how they worked defensively. Big players can be good strikers but when the commitment is like today, defensively also working to help us, it is amazing.” Emery adds. Arsenal has yet to face Chelsea in Baku come 27th of May.
