Footballers and Friends: Celebrating Sergio Busquets 10 years of Duty for Spain

The most idyllic and talented players for the national team of Spain, both past and present players join forces to celebrate Sergio Busquets. The 30-year-old Barcelona midfielder reaches the 10-year mark in playing for the Spanish national team. The defensive midfielder debuted his football career in the global match against Turkey during the 2009 World Cup.

His Spartan move which launched the 2-1 victory with David Silva has since put him on the map of the football world. Busquets was also part of Spain’s 2010 victory in the European Championships, which they also won in 2012.

The 10 years of national duty to Spain has his former teammates sending the Barcelona player some good words and congratulations. Ex-teammates like Xavi said in his message to Busquets, “He is a key player for a team. He is an honest, humble, hardworking, positive person. Keep making history and keep making us enjoy.” Andres Iniesta adds, “I am sure there are going to be many more years.”
