France faces Uruguay tomorrow, July 6, Friday for the first of the last eight games before the final World Cup match. The preparations and training that teams have been going through have been highly regarded. All eyes are on France as they conduct final grunt work prior to their match tomorrow.
The boys of Didier Deschamps have really shown up and executed more than well in the match against Argentina, taking home the 4-3 victory last Saturday. This doesn’t translate to any valid reason to give into complacency for the next few matches for the French footballers. With Paul Pogba and Kylian Mbappe on the rim of intense training, the team has no intention of slowing down.
It was in 1998 when France last held a World Cup championship trophy. The team is in high spirits as they resume training in the hopes of getting a second chance on the World Cup championship title. The attempt to do so shall be interesting to watch since Blaise Matuidi will not be playing with the team against Uruguay due to his suspension.
France will launch the last eight games with a battle against Uruguay tomorrow, Friday, June 6 in the Novgorod Stadium.
