The upcoming rival game between Manchester United and Manchester City is a few hours away and looks like Liverpool’s famed manager Jurgen Klopp is confidently vouching for Manchester United to win. Liverpool’s journey into finishing with flying colors in the Premier League is heavily dependent on whoever wins the game tomorrow at Old Trafford.
United has already accumulated 5 losses with its most recent loss against Everton, 4-1 defeat last Sunday. In an interview with Sky Sports last Sunday post-Liverpool win at Cardiff, he says that he’s highly anticipating and keeping tabs open for the rivalry game between Manchester’s finest.
“It doesn’t look like at the moment that Man Utd can really… what was the result today? 3-0? 4-0? So we’ll see, City will be ready and we’ll see if United are ready as well. It’s a normal game, it’s a game they have to play, we played there and had a draw.” Jurgen Klopp adds.
When asked about his defensive strategy for whoever Liverpool will end up battling tomorrow, he just says that it’s all a relatively challenging approach but staying focused is what will get his team going.
“If United gets a point and whatever and we beat Huddersfield then go to Newcastle and even half think we have it, then we get a knock there, it’s all difficult. We just have to stay focused on our things. That’s what has worked really well so far and I don’t see any reason why we should change that.” Klopp tells Sky Sports.
