Lionel Messi and his Two Sons Looking Dapper for Cesc Fabregas’ Son’s Baptism

Former teammate in Barcelona, Lionel Messi attends Cesc Fabregas’ son’s baptism during his downtime after suffering from a groin injury. The Barcelona star and Ballon d’Or winner showed up for his best mate Cesc Fabregas with his two sons, Thiago, and Mateo in dapper suits.

Fabregas’ one-year-old Leonardo was baptized, along with wife, Daniella Semaan and sister Suzanna present at the baptism. Messi and Fabregas have been longtime friends since their time together in youth ranks for Barcelona and then later throughout Fabregas time in the Spanish club back in 2011.

Withdrawing from training with the Argentina squad from his groin injury gave Messi some time off and the time to attend Fabregas’ festivity. The 31-year-old football superstar lost to Venezuela 3-1 in a friendly match last Friday.

Messi has another season ahead of him despite his injury with so far a great CV with 39 goals in 37 games for Barcelona across all competitions. The Argentine talent is set to return to training with Barcelona on Saturday with a home game set to go head to head with rivals Espanyol.
