Liverpool Gets Back Mo Salah at His Best; Jurgen Klopp Confirms

After quite the hiatus, Mo Salah is finally back in his best form going for a solid double as Red Star Belgrade falls back with a 0-4 loss against Liverpool yesterday, October 25. The Champions League match was trademarked with 26-year-old Egyptian player who put his team 2-0 after Roberto Firmino’s lead. In just a total of 65 games, Salah was able to add a penalty during the second half in his 50th Liverpool game.

The 4-0 victory definitely bounced back from Napoli loss in their latest Group C fixture. Sadio Mane was one of the stellar footballers to make up for that loss by netting the fourth goal.

Salah did make the game quite remarkable return despite his sluggish demeanor, which was very different from his 44 goal accumulation across all competitions last season. The 26-year-old showed no expression despite a power-driven display in executing both his goals. This got several fans questioning the player’s stance and demeanor, whether he is alright and ready to continue to the upcoming matches.

Jurgen Klopp expresses his sentiment regarding Salah’s condition who explicitly said he was confident that the Egyptian powerhouse was pleased with his performance, along with Liverpool’s.

“He’s completely fine, it’s all good. I saw couldn’t see his face (when he scored) but I know he’s fine. I saw his face when I took him off – that was different!”

“It was a good football game, to be honest,’ he said, ‘a deserved win – and that’s all we wanted,” Klopp adds to his statement.
