Manchester United Tempts David de Gea with £20 million if the Goal Keeper Departs from PSG

Spanish footballer David De Gea is being sought out for by Manchester United, with Ole Gunnar Solksjaer willing to put in £ 20 million to get the player to leave PSG this summer. According to the Sun, the directors at United are willing to accept any bid higher than £60 million from the Ligue 1 champions. In the final year of De Gea’s contract, the 28-year-old aims to make a proper selection from an array of interesting clubs next summer instead of making an early pick from the liter.

Despite’s De Gea’s sure decision to move, United is not entirely up for one of its most valuable assets to leave for free. The likelihood of United offering £20 million to De Gea is highly likely as a “golden handshake” to seal in the deal before the deal expires. The 28-year-old footballer is up to be offered a lucrative contract from his next club if there’s no transfer fee to be paid.

However, if it comes down to it, De Gea is also happy to stay in United next season unless he is surely paid for a transfer elsewhere. So far, sources reveal that PSG and United are close to reaching a middle ground and could hail De Gea as Solskjaer’s leading prospect for transfer after the much noticeable departure of Gianluigi Buffon.
