Paris Saint-Germain’s right back for PSG, 36-year-old Dani Alves who’s been holding back on giving a final answer to PSG executives who wish to hear if the Brazilian will be continuing with the French team. The contract renewal offers two more years with PSG and is something Alves has no final answer to yet due to his desire of transferring to the Premier League team.
The Brazilian footballer is awaiting feedback from his appeal to the Premier League where stability and growth is usually a keen driver for its players, a factor that was attractive to the PSG player. It’s no surprise that Alves’ frustration over his role in PSG has not given him enough options for growth in the past season. PSG will have to do more than just offer him a two-year contract, and actually, work him in their plans on moving PSG forward with Dani Alves in mind and not just another player staying in PSG.
Alves’ interest in teams like Chelsea, Manchester City, and Manchester United have been long standing even before he signed with PSG two years ago. Pep Guardiola has been made aware by the Brazilian’s willingness to move to the Etihad Stadium prior, however, nothing is set in stone and such suggestions of the clubs signing him are not far from impossible.
