Since winning the World Cup, Steven N’Zonzi has become a transfer target by many clubs including Arsenal. The club’s football manager Unai Emery has shown keen interest on N’Zonzi but the need to sell a player to get the 29-year-old Spanish midfielder on board.
£70 million was spent on Matteo Guendouzi, Bernd Leno, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, and Lucas Torreira by Emery. The feisty Arsenal manager wants to sign N’Zonzi from Sevilla for another £25 million. The two are more than just familiar with the 29-year-old winning the Europa League with Unai Emery in Seville.
Raising funds is a must for Emery which can actually prompt Aaron Ramsey leaving the Arsenal team. His contract is scheduled to expire on June. The Gunners lost current midfielder for West Ham United Jack Wilshere on a free this summer. The team is hesitant to see the same thing happen with Aaron Ramsey next year.
